Eat to Win Signs On With the FHTM Bluegrass State Games

LEXINGTON, Ky.—The Bluegrass Sports Commission announced today that the “Eat to Win” will be an associate sponsor for the FHTM Bluegrass State Games.

“We are proud to welcome the “Eat to Win” program to our group of dedicated sponsors,” said Executive Director Terry Johnson. “Their mission to promote healthy living and to support Kentucky farmers ties in well with our effort.”

Eat to Win is an initiative of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture that promotes daily consumption of fruits and vegetables, the importance of buying local products, and the benefits of a healthy diet. The program is designed to encourage these behaviors in school age children. For more information about the program, visit www.eattowinky.com.

“Eat to Win is all about promoting healthy eating in children, particularly for student athletes,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Richie Farmer. “We look forward to the chance to reach out to children, and their parents, who are competing in the Games with information about healthy lifestyles.”
