FORMAT: This tournament will be “scratch” with no handicaps given to any bowler. All participants will bowl a 3 game format to determine their ranking. The top 4 individuals will advance to the Medal Rounds. Should there be a tie, 9th and 10th frame roll-offs will be held until the tie is broken.
Bowlers are limited to two entries. Athletes will be in divisions by age and their average or entry score. Bowlers with a current average must have 12 games or more as of July 10, 2011. These bowlers must submit average sheet with entry. Some divisions may be combined with other divisions if there are not enough entries for competition within a division. The final score for an athlete competing is the sum of their scores over the 3 games. Foul lights will be on during competition.
STARTING TIMES: The first squad will start Saturday at 9 am with continual squad starting times every hour after. The last squad of the day will bowl at 4 pm. A similar format will be followed on Sunday with the final tournament squad starting at 12 pm and the medal rounds at 4:30 pm. Walk-ins welcome.
RULES: This Tournament is organized and bowled in accordance with the USBC rules and regulations. These events must be scheduled on lanes that are currently USBC certified and only USBC approved equipment may be used. For more detailed USBC rules information, visit www.bowl.com.
AGE: Age determination date is June 30, 2011. Proof of age must be provided with state ID or birth certificate.

FORMAT: All participants will bowl a three-game format with total pins plus their handicap to determining their ranking. The top four individuals will advance to the Medal Rounds. Should there be a tie, 9th and 10th frame roll-offs will be held until the tie is broken.
This tournament will offer Sanctioned and Open Divisions for all events. Participants may bowl in both Sanctioned and Open Divisions. To be considered for the Sanctioned Division, participants must include proof of certified average at the end of the 2010-2011 season or 21 games of the current season certified by a league secretary along with registration. Those with no established average must bowl in the Open Division.
Bowlers are limited to two entries. Participants must change partners for them to do a second event in Doubles and may only enter in one Singles event. Some divisions may be combined with other divisions if there are not enough entries for competition within a division.

Membership – USBC award recognition will be automatically extended to all USBC members. USBC members MUST bring their membership cards in order to bowl. Eligible non-members may qualify for USBC award recognition by paying USBC associate membership dues before participation. Applications will be available on-site. All others may participate; however, they will not be entitled to USBC award recognition.
Average – Average verification and USBC membership cards must be presented or purchased at the time of check in. Tournament officials reserve the right to adjust or re-rate entries. Tournament officials reserve the right to make ruling for the situations not covered by USBC rules. Decisions of the tournament officials will be final. If registering for doubles, each athlete MUST register separately and list partner on the registration form. Entrants will use their highest average based on a minimum of 21 games from the previous season. If no average last year, use the highest current USBC average of 21 games or more, as of July 16, 2011, all others will bowl in the Open Division. If no current average is available bowlers will use the highest verifiable average from the 2010-2011 season. Rule 319a, item 2, Rule 319e and Rule 319d is WAIVED. Bowlers are responsible for verifying their own average, whether submitted by the bowlers or others. If submitted average is lower than required and results in a lower classification or more handicap, the bowler’s score is disqualified. The decision of the tournament officials shall be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329.
Scoring & Handicaps – The Sanctioned Division will use a handicap computed on 90% of the difference between the bowlers average. 130 for Preps, 160 for Juniors, 180 for Majors, 220 for Adults and Seniors. The Open Division will bowl scratch.
