MALE & FEMALE PARTICIPANTS WILL COMPETE IN MIXED EVENTS.

CHECK-IN: On-site check-in is required prior to the close of registration. Registration closes half hour before event.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES: Participants competing in more than one event should be prepared to start later events before completing earlier ones.

RULES: U.S. Fencing Association rules will be administered by the KY Division. U.S.F.A. membership is required. Memberships may be purchased at the competition.

EQUIPMENT: All events will be fenced electric. Participants must provide their own equipment and all equipment must meet U.S.F.A. standards, including:

Masks - will be 12kg punch-tested; bibs must be sewn-in. You may not be allowed to participate if it doesn’t pass testing.

Weapons - at least two (2) working weapons must be with fencer at strip; weapons will be tested prior to each bout.

Undergarments - all fencers must wear plastron/underarm protectors; women must also wear breast protectors.

Clothing - regulation fencing gloves and jackets must be worn (no half-jackets); only regulation knickers or medium-heavy weight long pants may be worn (no sweatpants, lightweight trousers, or shorts will be allowed); no clothing with holes may be used.

AWARDS: Medals will be awarded separately to both males and females in each event as long as there are four (4) or more of each in the event.

AGE: Age divisions will be determined the day of the competition.
