The Bluegrass State Games

The Bluegrass Games needs volunteers for a variety of tasks including the Celebration of Athletes, sports competitions and t-shirt distribution. The Celebration of Athletes will be on Friday, July 15, at Applebee’s Park. The Games will take place July 8-10, 15-17, 22-24 and 29-31 at various locations. Volunteers may be asked to assist with set up, tear down, scoring, timing, tabulating results, on-site registration, general information and many other important Games related activities.

If you would like to get involved with the Bluegrass State Games as a volunteer, you may call or e-mail the Bluegrass State Games office for more information, or you may fill out the volunteer form below and mail it in. A Sport Commissioner or someone from our office will contact you regarding your specific volunteer assignment as it gets closer to the Games.

All Bluegrass State Games volunteers receive a t-shirt and a meal during each shift worked. Volunteers also have the satisfaction of knowing that their efforts helped to make Kentucky’s largest annual amateur sports event a success.
