Hosted by Bluegrass Sports Commission, Bluegrass State Games, Kentucky Youth Soccer, The Lexington Legends and ABC 36.

Dear Soccer Family,

Kentucky Youth Soccer is dedicated to promoting the game across the Commonwealth, so we have partnered with several local Central Kentucky organizations to host a World Cup Viewing Party at Applebee’s Park on June 12. Our intentions are to create an environment for the entire Kentucky soccer community to come together as part of a day-long festival concluding with the United States versus England World Cup match.

Applebee’s Park features two brand new high-definition video boards as well as 79 additional TVs throughout the venue.

Pre–game activities start @ Noon and will include the following:

• Kids inflatables
• Face painting
• Soccer activities and organizations
• Music and entertainment
• Sponsor promotional & giveaways

Game activities start @ 2:30 pm

• Match being televised by ABC 36 on 2 brand new high-definition video boards
• Halftime promotions and raffle
• Seating availability in the stands or up close in the outfield
• Concessions will be open starting at 12:00 until the final whistle

The gates will open at 12:00 pm. Throughout the entire day, concessions will be open for drink and food purchase. Additional event details will be announced in coming weeks and can be found at www.kysoccer.net/worldcup
